I am a few days late with my IHSW report but I had to make a few tweaks to this design last night doing a switcheroo on some of the colors. But here is my first ta-da! (right off the hoop!) of the new year, the Moose Parade! A super fun design!
And here is a snap of those brownies I made a few days ago.... tastes just as yummy with olive oil! SUCCESS!
Hope you are all having a great week and keeping warm!! We are back in the deep freeze again the Northeast! Here is Gigi keeping warm :D
Happy Stitching!! xxxx
What a fun pattern! =)
ReplyDeleteGigi has the right idea! It is frigid here too.
We lucked out from the big snow south of us, but it's very frigid. Good stitching weather! Gigi is a sweetie. I have a black cat who is now 15 years old (adopted from a sick friend), as well as a calico who is supposedly 6 years old (adopted from the shelter). Love our kitties!

Such a cute finish! And I want to know who I get in on the brownies!
ReplyDeleteTwo of my favorite things - brownies and a conga line of colorful moose!
ReplyDeleteOh I love your Moose!!!! Soooo cute and colorful! Love your kitty too! And the brownies -- I'm getting fat just looking. lol! Glad the olive oil worked! Hate this cold weather. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteGreat finish Krista, what a fun design!
ReplyDeleteThis moose chart is really cute. I love the different moose standing in line and each of them looking so funny. I also would like to know who the designer is. Very nice finish!
ReplyDeleteGigi has the right idea!!
ReplyDeleteI love your moose! And the brownies look lovely.
The moose parade is wonderful...beautiful stitches Krista!
ReplyDeleteGigi certainly has chosen the perfect spot, and looks to be ever so comfy.
Wishing you a cozy day ...

The moose parade is great, so colourful! Have a lovely day :)
ReplyDeleteLove the Moose and Gigi looks so cosy and warm. My kittycats, Furio and Milo, have been getting very hot here with our very hot summer weather.
ReplyDeleteI use olive oil for brownies also! I don't notice any difference in taste or texture.
ReplyDeleteI can't get over how much your Gigi looks like my old cat, Shadow!! They could have been brother and sister :)
ReplyDeleteLove your cute finish, Krista, and glad to hear you can substitute with olive oil and still have yummy brownies!
Love the moose parade! So cute and colorful.
ReplyDeleteMMMmmm...brownies with olive oil? I've heard of using applesauce. They sound (and look) SO good!
OMIGOSH!! I love black cats. Gorgeous.
