Almost to the finish line...

Yes!  I am so VERY close to finishing Miss Mary Wigham :D
Here's a quick little peek.

I have rounded the final corner!!  I have been working this pattern counter-clockwise for some reason, and have found that my stitches look best now when I work from bottom to top.
I feel like I have breezed thru the rest of this one and I think it is partly because I have started reading the chart right from my computer screen!  It sits way in front of me on my coffee table at a high magnification, like 300% and now I do not stop every few minutes to pick up the chart all squinty-eyed!

I have been playing with the colors, right to the very end, switching things here and there, and also plan to change out the color of this one here... it is just too much like the fabric color and I am not liking it!

So, two steps forward and one step back!
Have a great day with miles of smiles
and remember......

Happy stitchings!

Oh so pretty! That color is a bit light, but I do believe that's how these little girls did it sometimes, right? :D As for the cupcakes -- ok! Sounds good to me! lol!

Isn't that always the way! Well worth your effort. I know you're going to be happy with whatever you decide. That is the cutes little motif under Wigham.

Do whatever you need to make it pleasing to you. So do we scan our charts into the computer and then enlarge on screen? I would love to stitch that way. Keeps one hand free for cupcakes.

Wow Krista! She is looking great. I agree with the color change out too. I think the chaert reading on the computer is a great idea too.
I could use a cupcake right about now :)
Have a great weekend!

You GO, girl! Mary Wigham is looking great. I remember I had to darken a few of the shades on my Sarah Tatum, and was so glad I did when I had it all done. Please post again the second you have her finished~

Beautiful sampler, Krista! And such a good idea putting your chart on the computer. I would probably try it myself if I had a laptop, maybe someday!
