What's your favorite flavor?

Usually, being a Rolling Stones fan, my answer to that question is always Cherry Red!  With all these great options, so very hard to choose!  Such decisions!!

This time I went for Campfire- YUM!  A super refreshing treat!
This was at the Creamery, a great ice cream stand on a farm in Newtown CT.
This place is certainly the hot-spot nowadays!

I am still in a state of flux with my stitching projects!
so my WIP pile keeps growing!
Here is a wee bit more on the Blackbird SAL.
The eyelet stitch got started and didn't get that far...

...partly because a new pattern arrived in the mail!
This is Eiderstedter Haubarg 1783, a new one from European Reproduction Samplers.  It is a reproduction of an antique wedding sampler.

When I saw this sampler it reminded me so much of the buildings in Worpswede, Germany, the town where my grandmother grew up.
Here is a pic I took of a converted barn to shop when I visited a few years back.

So, yet another WIP!  I just don't know why I can't stay settled on one project.
Too many things keep catching my eye.

Happy Flag Day!!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!  Happy Stitching!!  xxxx

I am suffering from a bit of SADD myself lately but am trying to just go with it. Stitching is supposed to be fun after all!! I am working the Blackbird piece right now too but will probably rotate it out tomorrow. Yours is looking mighty pretty!! Laura

I really like that new piece from European Reproductions! The pic you took really does look like the sampler too. Cool! I know that feeling of flitting around on WIPs. I hope you settle down to something, or just enjoy the flitting. lol! Love ice cream!!!

Amazing how much that building in Germany really does resemble the one in your new sampler, Krista! I'm sure this piece will be very special for you...

Yum--love any of those flavors, but I would choose Black Raspberry as it always reminds me of home and growing up in my small town :)

Ohhh.....so many choices both in ice cream and in samplers! Enjoy your wips....they are all lovely! Remember you just finished a sampler with a huge amount of cross stitches...SDW...you deserve some variety :) My choice for ice cream is black raspberry....

Oh my, so many choices. I would be lost, lol. I remember when I was very young there was no ice cream at all. And later there was a choice between vanilla, chocolate and strawberry and that was it. So it was easy to make your choice, lol.

And with stitching projects it's a bit the same - there are so many choices and when I go through my charts I want to start them all. At once, lol. So my WIPs are piling up ....

Nice going on the Bbd sampler, and what a lovely new start.

Love the sampler from European Reproduction! It really does resemble the picture. And it is hard to stay focused on one piece. :) As for the ice cream ~ I'm afraid it is my biggest weakness.

Hmmm...maybe a taste of each one! Your WIPs look super! What color are you using for your eyelet stitch?

Oh wow! Too many choices for me! I would want to sample them all. I find the flavours written on the board so charming! I too have way too many WIP's but I've tried to focus on just 2 this month. The eyelet stitch looks great and where I got stuck too. Very charming little sampler! Hugs to you :D
