Some progress has been made on His Eye is on the Sparrow. Love each little critter, as each one is done it feels like a small finish :)
I am amazed at how fast the colors are changing this year. Some trees are in gorgeous color and some are already bare! Here is a beautiful spot outside the local coffee shop in Sandy Hook CT...
My friend visited for the day and we went on fall foliage drive through Northwestern Connecticut. First stop was Kent......
It was such a relaxing drive along the country roads, singing to some tunes, with all the leaves a-fluttering! Here we are looking out at the hills of Litchfield county..... please try to NOT see all those wires! lol
We stopped off for a delicious dinner at the White Horse Country Pub in New Preston CT...
...... and I splurged on the decadent Shepherd's Pie! YUMMMMM! Such a fun day!
I received a wonderful package in the mail this week. I was fortunate to win one of the charts in last month's Scarlet Letter blog draw.... Winds on the Wold (which means Meadow). Elizabeth also sent a sweet Sajou key chain too. What a sweet pattern and verse! Thanks so much, Elizabeth!! This could be my next Scarlet Letter stitch... I have been trying to decide!
And here is a sweet woodland friend.... a sweet deer that was having a rest after eating a zillion acorns in my yard! She had a full belly and needed a nap! lol
Enjoy the beautiful change of season and colors! Wishing you a wonderful new week!
Happy stitching!! xxxx

Great Fall pics.
It's pretty right now too, here in WI.
Congrats on your win!
Marilyn
I agree with Marilyn, since I am in Wisconsin too. ;)
That is a really neat chart you won there.
Nice progress on your WIP! What a cool chart to win! Thanks for sharing your fall foliage pictures.

Only the dogwood has changed color here--fall is going to be very late. Love Scarlet Letter designs
Love seeing your fun weekend times! Congrats on winning the SL chart too. That looks like a good one. I love seeing His Eye from the bottom up. It looks wonderful!
Lovely progress on your wip and beautiful pictures too :)
His Eye seems to be a very popular piece among the sampler stitchers, and I can easily see why. It's beautiful and you made some nice progress on it. Congratulations on your win. And what a wonderful trip you made through such a great landscape.
What a pretty sampler this is turning out to be, Krista--I really enjoy watching it grow.
And your photos from CT are gorgeous--it really is such a pretty state.
Enjoy stitching that new chart!
Great progress on your sampler. The individual motifs do make it seem like a lot of small finishes.
The countryside near you looks lovely, very autumnal!
Beautiful photos, Krista. We have lots of wires everywhere, so I am quite used to them. I love your picture of the deer!
