You may remember from my last post that I was in the process of moving.. It has taken a bit of time but I am finally all situated. Pictures hanging on the wall... and my stitching : )
I have had to do a great deal of downsizing, lots of things sent to Goodwill, but of course not my stitching stash! I have sorted all my fabrics.... and yet with all this I still don't have the right size or count I need for my project to-do list! lol!
Gigi has found a new perch........
And I have found my stitching mojo again.....getting back to my many WIPs. Here is a bit of work on my Red House Sampler.
Somehow since my last post, it turned from Spring to Summer..... Mother Nature has bloomed everywhere........
I got back to NYC again..... met a friend and spent some time in Soho then headed uptown for a club show seeing the lovely Lisa Fischer....
I have also started another new journey... I am charting my first reproduction sampler! It has been fun learning this process and I look forward to sharing more with you all in the months to come....
So Gigi and I are happy to be settled in our new place. Can't wait to see what all of you have been up to with your stitching. Hope you are enjoying a beautiful weekend! xxxx Krista & Gigi too!

So glad you and Gigi are settled in now.
What fun to reproduce a sampler!
Nice to see you settled in your new place. I love those shaker trees!
How great that you are doing your first reproduction sampler! Looking forward to seeing more!
Glad the move went well. If you send me your new address, I might send a New Home card!
I love the display on your sideboard, the stitching above is simple but perfect for the area.
The reproduction sampler looks interesting too, I bet you really appreciate Marsha even more now!
Welcome back Krista - you've been missed! So glad to see you and Gigi are settling in well just in time to enjoy the summer. Hope there's plenty of storage space for that impressive collection of linen! Reproducing an antique sampler is also on my stitching bucket list, but I first have to lay my hand on the right one. Please share all the details of your work so I can learn along with you!
Moving keeps you busy for a lot of time with all the downsizing and getting settled dow the way you want it. But great to see you back .
Nice day spent in NYC. And wow, there's a new adventure ahead with charting a reproduction sampler. Good luck with it.
