A Valentine Giveaway!

We are only a week away from Valentine's Day so I thought a giveaway would be fun :D   A sweet something for my sweet blogging friends!

It will be for Stacy Nash Primitives Love Pinkeep and Heart set to make.  The kit includes the linen, thread and material to finish both the Love Pinkeep and small floral heart pillow.  To enter is simple, just leave a comment on this post and be a follower of my blog.

A name will be picked on Valentine's Day

I hope you all have been having a great week.  Did your team win the BIG game?  Mine did (Gigi wanted the Ravens to win :)), although I was tuned in more for the overall entertainment value.  It was so very sweet to see the Sandy Hook Children's Chorus singing with Jennifer Hudson.

I've been keeping up on my many projects and now I am adding a few more... I know, CRAZY!!  I don't know when it will be fit in but I simply cannot resist.  I have a severe case of start-itis!

First up, I am joining in with the mini-SAL on the Scarlet Letter's The Manifesto.  It has been 'Manifesto Madness' for everyone involved waiting ever-so-patiently or NOT! for chart and supplies.  I got my chart yesterday and have my linen pulled out, but out of the 101 skeins of thread needed I had only 8 in my stash!  I have decided to use a 32ct natural linen which I had a full yard of in my stash.  This is supposed to be a one-day-a-week project... at that rate I may be done in hmmmm, 20 years??  lol!  Hopefully, not that long!

The next one I have fallen hopelessly for is Sarah Harris from Needleprint.  Here is a couple of photos from the Needleprint website of the original sampler.  I am just in LOVE with all the bright colors in this one.  I have more of the thread for this one but will pick out my fabric once I have all the colors in hand and can see how I like the floss toss.

So now I think I may have a project for every day of the week!  I may have to devise a week-at-a-time plan so that I can make solid ground on each of these.

I know, it is all total craziness!

I think I will get some really good stitching time in, the latest snow-cast will be turning this TGIF into a a stitching hibernation!  Yikes!!  15"+!!

Thank you all for visiting and commenting.  And welcome to my new followers!  It is great to meet new stitchers who enjoy the same passion in stitching.

If you are in the North East like me, I hope you stay safe and warm and weather the storm okay.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!   I hope you all get plenty of stitching time!  xxxx

I'm in the Northwest and we've had a relatively low snow winter --- but it's still cold enough to make staying home and stitching sound wonderful. Both your projects look like fun. I just started a new project after Christmas, even though I still had quite a few in progress. I just couldn't resist the allure of an empty canvas.
Would love to give the pinkeep a try.

Our weather here in WI is crazy too, mostly slush and ice to deal with, and cold temps.
I am a follower of your blog, and would love to enter for the cool pattern.
Thanks!

Oh gosh, I'm so jealous of that snow!! Stay safe, hunker down, and get some stitching done! Your new projects are so nice. I'm trying not to succumb to The Manifesto but might cave when I see some WIP pictures. I'm a follower!

Wow, what a wonderful give-a-way!

I am doing The Manifesto Mini SAL, too! I will be mounting my silk gauze (40 ct.) on my stretcher bars this afternoon. I haven't decided what day of the week I plan to work on this. I am surely over-projected (if that is a word?)!

i WILL BE SURE TO KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR mANIFESTO PROGRESS!

My hat is off to you. Manifesto is way to big of a project for me to start with all the ufos I am juggling. I am secretly doing a scarlett letter and following both blogs but there is no way I can keep up so I enjoy looking at all the girls progress and stitch mine as time allows without any shame. Please enter me in the fabulous giveaway by Stacey, i love her primitive designs. Thanks for the lovely gesture for valentines day. Good luck on Manifesto thanks for the opportunity

Oh, I just heard about the big storm heading your way, Krista--I do hope you all stay safe up there. My sister is in MA and is quite concerned...

Love all of your many projects--as a one-at-a-time stitcher I am fascinated how you multiple project stitchers juggle everything so well!

I would love to be entered into your Valentine's Day giveaway...have never stitched a Stacy Nash chart and this is such a beauty. Thanks for the chance...And Happy Valentine's Day :)

Krista - first of all - thank you for becoming a follower on my blog ! I have been remiss in welcoming you. I became a follower of yours today and linked yours on my sidebar. Thanks for the opportunity to win your VDay giveway - hope you are not still buried by all that snow heading your way. I sometimes long to have that experience just once in my life. Being a FL girl born and raised - I have hardly seen more than a few flurries in my life. Enjoy stitching on your beautiful projects - I too have long admired the Harris sampler from Needleprint. Enjoy ! Melody

Krista, you have stolen my heart. I love that Stacy Nash design...it is so darn sweet. I would love to win and also your other projects are fun too.

Stay warm and inside stitching this weekend. It can be a wonderful experience when you are snowed in for a day or so. Hot soup, movies and some great stitching projects. :)

Stitching hibernation - sounds good to me. I hope the storm didn't do too much damage to your region. YOur projects look so good, great choice for new starts. Startitis is one of the best things that happen to me - I love starting new projects. The more the better, lol.
